Proyección del Concierto de G-DRAGON 3D en Cinepolis.

Mi primer acercamiento al
mundillo de la música coreana en concreto fue (y nunca lo olvidaré) a través del
MV This Love de G-Dragon; después de eso, La La La y otros hits del momento de
BIG BANG, grupo que se convertiría en uno de mis favoritos, que ya es mucho
decir, pues no sigo grupos en particular sino el tipo de música.
My first approach to the Korean music scene specifically was (and
will never forget) through MV This Love G-Dragon; after that, La La La and
other hits of the moment of BIG BANG, a group that would become one of my
favorites, which is saying something because I do not follow particular groups
but the type of music.
Después de escucharlos por años, ver sus videos,
comedias, programas de televisión entre muchas cosas más, tuve la oportunidad
de ver en un concierto-convención junto a otros artistas a G-Dragon en dos
ocasiones en la ciudad de Los Angeles. Debo decir que verlo en vivo es un
agasajo ( no piensen mal), su porte, la forma en la que se mueve por todo el
escenario con esas miradas y esas mordidas de labio para aumentar el ritmo
cardíaco de las fans, su forma de bailar, su voz celestial y mil cosas más,
hacen que cualquiera (siendo VIP o no) caiga antes sus pies, pues aun si lleva
lentes oscuros en toda la presentación, esas pequeñas miradas que se escapan
por arriba o guiños de vez en cuando te aceleran el corazón.
Todas esas experiencias y
sentimientos las he sentido y presenciado de forma efímera; nunca he tenido la
oportunidad de estar presente en un show completo de él solito, con todo el
escenario y dos horas para disfrutarlo.
After listening to them for years,
watch their videos, comedies, TV shows among many other things, I had the
opportunity to see G-Dragon twice in the city of Los Angeles in a concert-convention
with other artists. I must say that to see him live is a treat (do not think
bad), his demeanor, the way he moves around the stage with those looks and
those bitten of the lips to increase the heart rate of the fans, his dancing,
his heavenly voice and a thousand other things, make any (being VIP or not)
fall at his feet, as even if he wears sunglasses the whole performance, those
little glances that escape over or winks occasionally accelerate everyone’s
heart.
I have felt and witnessed all those
experiences and feelings in an ephemeral way; I've never had the opportunity to
be in a complete show by him, with all the stage-two hours to enjoy it.

cadena Cinépolis el concierto “One of a Kind – 1st World Tour” del artista G-Dragon de BIGBANG en 3D."
Cuando
me enteré de que Cinepolis (*la capital del cine) tendría un especial de dos
funciones del concierto en solitario de G-Dragon y en 3D, no dudé en ir a
comprar mis boletos en cuanto estuvieran a la venta, así fuera en una pantalla,
sería genial vivir esta experiencia en compañía de fellows VIPS de la ciudad.
When I found out that Cinepolis would
have a special two screening of the solo concert of G-Dragon in 3D, I did not
doubt in going to buy my tickets as soon as they were release; even if it was
on a screen it would be great to live this experience in the company of fellows
VIPS of my city. So I went, bought my tickets and everything was ready for the
D-day; something that surprised me (positively) was that where I reside, was
one of the cities with the best sales.
En
fin, al llegar al cine el día de la proyección era más que obvio quienes
estaban allí por la misma razón que yo: playeras, colguijes, pulseras y más
cosas le darían la impresión a cualquiera no solo a mí. Me encontré con mis
amigas, y al ver la propaganda exuberante del evento no dudamos en tomarnos la
foto del recuerdo.
Anyway,
when I got to the movie theater, the day of the screening it was obvious who were
there for the same reason as me: shirts, bracelets and more would give the
impression to anyone not just me. I came across my friends, and when we saw the
advertising of the event, we didn’t hesitate to take a picture .
Después
de comprar la botana y platicar un rato para ponernos al corriente en nuestras
vidas, se comenzó a hacer la fila para ya poder acceder a la sala, tomar
nuestro lugar correspondiente y disfrutar de la proyección. No hubo problema
alguno, todo fue organizado correctamente sin contratiempos.
Al
comenzar el “concierto” se sentía un ambiente de emoción, felicidad y ansias;
los gritos y coros de la audiencia se elevaron cuando el rostro de Ji Young
apareció por primera vez en la velada a través de la pantalla grande con la
canción que daría puerta a un concierto-documental.
La noche continuó así, llena
de gritos, fanchants, “aww’s” y pequeñas danzas y zangoloteos en el espacio
reducido del asiento, con la pequeña ayuda de la presencia de un lighstick que
se encontraba en medio de la audiencia: la corona amarilla que brillaba como la
clásica luz presente cada vez que hay un evento de BIG BANG en cualquier parte
del mundo (con gran felicidad les cuento que esa luz estaba en las manos de su
escritora VIP).
After purchasing the snacks and talking
a bit to catch up on our lives, we started to get in line to Access the movie
theater, take our corresponding seats and enjoy the screening. There was no problem
at all, everything was properly organized.
At the beginning of the
"concert" an atmosphere of excitement, happiness and eagerness felt; shouts
and chorus of the audience soared when Ji Young's face first appeared in the
evening through the big screen with the song that would be the opening to a
concert-documentary.
The
night went well, full of screams, fanchants, "aww's" and small dances
and jiggles in the confined space of the seat, with a little help from the
presence of lighstick that was in the middle of the audience: the yellow crown
shining as the classic light present whenever there is an event of BIG BANG
anywhere in the world (with great happiness I tell you that light was in the
hands of this VIP writer).
Lo bueno tiene un fin, y así
la proyección terminó, mas no el ánimo de los presentes: algunos publicamos
nuestra euforia rápidamente en redes sociales, otros salieron con cámara en
mano gritando y corriendo hacia el poster de G-Dragon e incluso en las afueras
del cine (las razones, las desconozco).
Su servidora tuvo una velada muy grata, no solamente
porque Cinepolis le diera una oportunidad al K-pop (cosa que si se agradece
enormemente) pero también por el gran ambiente, convivencia de la fanaticada y
la compañía de todos. Con esperanza de que se vuelva a presenciar un evento
similar, me despido.
The good things have an end, and so
the projection was over, but not the spirit of the attendees: a few of us
published our euphoria quickly in social networks, others went out with camera
in hand screaming and running toward the poster of G-Dragon and even outside the
movie theater (I’m unaware of the reasons why).
I truly had a very pleasant evening,
not only because Cinepolis gave a chance to K-pop (which is greatly appreciated)
but also for the great atmosphere, coexistence of the fans and the company of
all. Hopefully a similar event would happen again.
